1. Regularly Inspect Your Foundation
Winter weather and normal wear and tear can lead to cracks and other issues with your home’s foundation. It is a good idea to inspect your foundation every spring and call a professional for foundation repair if you find any problems. Unrepaired problems with your foundation can lead to sagging floors, cracked walls and other issues.
2. Repair Broken Outlets
Broken outlets can cause your home to fail an inspection and can also be a safety hazard, in addition to just being an annoyance. At least once a year, check all of the outlets in your home to see if they still functioning. If the covers are cracked, the outlets are loose, or they do not work at all, you should consider having them repaired.
